Members of Pioneer’s CFP Club, an organization supporting the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, helped the Pioneer community celebrate Valentine’s Day with a tribute to its teachers.

The club, which specifically supports the hospital’s Child & Family Life Program, installed dozens of paper hearts with the names of Pioneer teachers on a wall in front of Schreiber Auditorium.

The effort, led by juniors Emma Van Alstine and Sophie Fonte, took about four hours of total work and was installed in time for the holiday.

“Dr. Hyliard encourages student leaders to show appreciation for staff members and to help out our community, so we wanted to do something nice for Valentine’s Day,” said Van Alstine.
